Let's cut through the BS and analyze cold hard facts.
Fact #1: what is this guy doing? He is spouting nonsense about China, some of it might be true, some of it might be false. It's frankly irrelevant in relation to reality, because the US has very low amount of intelligence gathering capability there.
Fact #2: how does this guy manage to pay his bills? He is getting paid by DoD, which is a big part of the US government and therefore gets a big part of the US budget. The US government is unable to operate on a sustainable budget model, so it goes further in debt with each passing year. This is a perk of the US dollar being the global reserve currency. This system is allowed to go on for now, but it's not going to last indefinitely. So in other words people like this guy are working hard to put the US further in debt and therefore force the government to print more dollars to cover the budget thus bringing the collapse of the current system ever closer.

So let's add the 2 facts together and summarize: this guy is working hard to collapse the US financially by wasting US defense budget in exchange for telling his higher ups and the trailer-dwelling segment of the population what they want to hear in relation to China. Is he a Chinese agent?
