This story is incredibly polarized.
The grim, foggy and washed out first two chapters already weren't an enticing setting, and it threatened to get outright annoying with Rose's denial of being dead with the lack of substantial answers. The prose was the only thing keeping me going through them.
Then, it immediately turned around and had the super cute first date chapter! My expectations for the story were completely turned around as it seemed like going through Rose's memories would be a lot of fun.
But immediately after that, the sex came and it was really weird. The behavior these characters have is like some rural Christian just found out that some schools teach contraceptives instead of abstinence and is still trying to reconcile this. It's so important for Rose to be a virgin, and Post is on the same page with her about it, but then later they're acting like a hoof job isn't sex? The contrast with all of this and Rose's obsession with making a foal is as bizarre as it is offputting.
The H&H Day chapter seemed like it would be fun, I tend to like nude ponies and the stuff that comes from that, but what was actually written did not end up being that. I also wonder if the author has a big gap between what they were imagining and what they wrote. It talked about games, but there were no actual games. It was just heat driving everypony insane, and the only objective any of them had was to not fuck and all of them failed. That does not seem like any fun, just like some mind control bullshit instead.
Also, the Pinkie perspective transitions are t e r r i b l e. It takes far too long to figure out that the perspective is no longer Rose. Part of that is because she's OOC, but I would never take issue with a story just because Pinkie is OOC.
I'll keep reading it because it clearly has some good scenes, but I don't really think that this is going to end up being a worthwhile story.

I was originally going to make a joke about Care Package being gay, but then I looked it up and he is actually a different pony from Post Haste. Also, Care Package is way cuter.
