They had plenty of opportunities to give Ryan a different alternate haircuts with the alt and event SSRs. They had plenty of scenarios and excuses to use such as e.g. Ryan's kids changing her hair when wearing cute outfits since they know that Ryan really like cute things (+ Bright love dolls), IRL Ryan had different hairdos (not just the ugly haircut to get rid of lice), etc.
But no, Cygays is too lazy and went with the easiest route.
