I drew Suiseiseki a little while ago for a joke.

I've sometimes heard on this website that Western artists rarely really *get* or understand anime art. I vaguely remember having heard stuff about how Japanese line art is influenced by kanji being dependent on stroke order, so the Japanese have to get better at line art just to be able to communicate with each other. Do you think that's true? If so, do you think I've overcome that hurdle or am coming close?
