India does buy military equipment from Israel, yes, but you have to keep in mind that we're up against China and Pakistan and until recently Russia, our long-term supplier, was in a big slump in terms of the quality of their defence kit that they didn't prioritise, namely optics and electronics. So yes, we have diversified but unlike Australia we're not part of (and don't want to be part of) 5 Eyes and the Western security / vassalage infrastructure so we have to get what we can.
