1. Money grubbers, often overcharging for system peripherals for many years. Example: gamecube memory cards which were glorified SD cards that were like more than 10x the cost of an SD card with the same memory capacity at the time. Like every time i mention this some retard will say they were cheap but doesn't know they were paying 20 bucks for a 1megabyte sd card when they could've gotten a much larger sd card for the same price. This is the biggest one since the Wii U days I feel. Cancerous shit like amiibos, overpriced switch games, even more overpriced switch 2 games, game key cards, selling a bunch of old game roms in a SUBSCRIPTION MODEL FOR SOME REASON, etc.
2. Bad online experience on every system they've ever had one on. Now you even have to pay money for this shit experience.
3. They go after fangames that would get them tons of new fans for no reason. Similar thing with game music on youtube, just a bad reputation for allowing fan content.
4. If you're one of those people who get off on how realistic and serious and gritty a game is, most of Nintendo's games won't be something you're interested in.
But if you mainly play single player or local multiplayer games, already have copies of their older games or plan on emulating them on PC, and don't hate cartoonish or family friendly styled games, none of these matter that much because their recent games are great.
