the real reason i don't mind deep voice shotas is that it's difficult for me to watch someone like, say, tatamaru and not gender him as female. it's easier when it's anime since the focus is on the character and story rather than a person talking, and i mostly read manga so that makes it even easier with no voice acting involved. it'd be nice to have a stronger sense of disbelief so i could watch more jp shotatubers.
