The first mistake was giving you a land which belonged to other people. It was immoral to use the territory of a people who had inhabited it for thousands of years and arbitrarily assign it as the ‘homeland’ for another, outside, separate people. Completely unprincipled, ignorant decision. Since then, you’ve never settled peacefully in the lands given to you, always agitating and aggressively pushing for more and stretching out your hand for aid from your benefactors.

The second mistake was believing that the incoming ‘replacement population’ would abide by the terms proscribed.. which they have never honoured. Beginning with the Nakba, and continuing through the many decades since, Palestinians have been displaced from their homelands through ever-expanding encroachment on their territory. This has been accomplished through a relentless violence and destruction of Palestinian homes with Israel’s ‘settlements,’ which are nothing other than the stealing of other peoples homes and territory.
