I don't care who SP makes fun of. I stopped watching when they deliberately told their audience who to vote for.
Young Trey and Matt would have punched their old selves in the dick for doing it. Poke fun, make fun, have fun but don't tell people how to think, much less how they should vote. They used Garrison as a stand-in for Trump because they thought he wouldn't win and when he did, they were like "Fuck..." and got a little bit of TDS over it.
It comes down to this; Trey and Matt got money and grew elitist. They've always poked fun at small town America but they didn't show utter disdain for it until the past few years.
Case in point, their "Goobacks" episode, which they wouldn't dare make now.
