Pyonkochi
>fave device
Either a tossup between Connection v3 or v4. v3 perfected the classic formula of caretaking, while v4 has a meaty amount of content without sacrificing that core. The Japanese counterparts are solid too, I like the Keitai a lot but the Entama feels pretty shallow in terms of caretaking since they put extra focus on the schooling aspect and have little punishment for doing poorly in the skill point aspect and relies too much on e-Tamago to be usable.
>fave collab
I don't care for collabs much, but I do like Digimon vpets quite a bit. They're simple but appealing enough thanks to the things it does differently from Tamagotchi.
>what you would like to see in a new device
A return to form in terms of raw vpet growth. Later entries trivialized growth mechanics due to how quickly they grow and lack of ways to innately rack up care mistakes, or alternatively relying on simply feeding characters certain foods to get them. Some challenge and pushback helps with gameplay flow, a lot of "cozy games" have been falling into that same trap of making things unrewarding due to the lack of challenge to contrast the relief and reward.
>hopes for the Paradise
A large amount of side content would be nice.

Most of the anime humanoids don't do it for me. They went from virtual pets with their own society to bargain bin Sanrio girls, and it especially stings because they've done "girl" designs without devolving into that philosophy with Mesutchi and Entama females. Tamagotchi honestly lost the plot after the Plus era and didn't recover tonally until the Smart and Uni dialed back on that sort of thing and the Paradise threw that entire concept in the trash.

Despite praising the Smart earlier for dialing back on the moe, it's an extremely shallow device. Never liked DLC either.
>least favorite collab
I didn't like Sanrio collabs happening in the main devices proper. Keep crossover content separate.
