If Sept 11 happened today people would be taking selfies and there would be mass looting, rescuers would be less (remember Uvalde where the cops hid outside instead of going in), and if the planes were Boeings you could expect "technical issues" to hamper any terrorist plans. Sept 11 was the symbolic death of this country. There isn't even a target you could hit today that would have similar effect.
