In base Sun/Moon she is the deranged mom, but when you beat her, she reconciles with Lillie. In Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon she is way more normal, her principles are noble, and she ultimately swears to be a better mom and protect all pokemon. In the anime she is even super affectionate with Lillie.
