Bro really thinks he's a genius who is the only puppet player to have figured out that playing cards and attacking the opponent with them is a good idea.
Obviously that wins some games but the goal isn't to win some games, it's to win well over 50% of games, and to do that you've gotta have reach for when your opponents have answers.
