You should. Our time on this earth is short. Good things are worth celebrating. Honestly the US should have way more celebrations and national holidays.
Juneteenth honestly should be a week long, at least. Slavery has plagued all mankind for millennia; getting rid of it is a massive accomplishment. Making it into a minor holiday about black people frankly squanders what should be a massive cause for general celebration and demeans our national pride.
