An Aeropress is a device for brewing ground coffee (which is just coffee beans that have been roasted then chopped up). Alternatively though you can just get a french press / cafetiere, they're not very expensive. Pic related is a small one from Tesco. Brewing real ground coffee like that does taste nicer, but instant is okay for day to day coffee. Here is an instant coffee from Tesco that looks okay - a bit posher than bog standard stuff, but not too expensive (I haven't had this one but it looks like it's probably okay): https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/279429982

Or you can just try bog standard store brand instant coffee. Like "Tesco Gold". It won't taste amazing but it's okay if you just want to try coffee.
