okay so I had to post this picture because it fascinates me (it's not that crazy)
i'm sure many of us have seen details "pop" into existence as the diffusion progresses
i've definitely watched countless times as a bare penis tip suddenly became half-covered by foreskin
as if it needed to get it in there at eleventh hour

but that's about as much as i've noticed, of significance, until now

i was re-genning on the same seed for a while to tweak clothes and pose and so on and this time, i watched two left forearms at 45 degrees from each other appear half way through and was thinking
"oh cool this one's already fucked. did i miss a negative prompt or something, is this my fault"

only to immediately watch as the arm pointing upwards vanished and the lower arm solidified
this wouldn't be that interesting on it's own, what i'm amazed by is that the clipboard was perfectly angled for the upwards arm
and it stayed, but the negative erased that arm and the clipboard stayed
that's why this looks so weird. it actually made contextual sense -right up until it didn't-

i was going to try and draw over to illustrate it a little but this previous gen is close enough to how the arm was that vanished, complete with clipboard in a similar position

i don't know if this changes much for me but i'm kind of just happy to have learned first-hand why this kind of thing can happen. and i think that's neat. :)
