That's what I mean. Bandana Dee is not actually the likeliest Kirby inclusion, but he's been commissioned as such by the fanbase for the last decade. And because of this, the fanbase never gets to explore any of the good choices the franchise has.
Imagine if Captain Toad was irrationally pushed as the "next-in-line" lock over every other Mario option. Even if I'd prefer him over Dee, that would still be super dumb.
