Sounds like an agree to disagree, its whatever your looking for out of it. Im so used to the old system 1 extra click is nothing to me. You can organize the cities by all those attributes I listed earlier so you can see whatever city you need to immediately without scrolling so the city limit doesnt matter to me much, though I would imagine that feature is available in the remaster as well.
