After years of trying (with minimal achievement at best), I've crossed the threshold into unequivocal success. That is to say I've achieved what most manifesters want (GF, money, house, etc) so I think this gives me authority to speak on the subject.
My main takeaway is:

This oversimplification is not meant for the novice, it is for people who have done years of habitual mindfulness/meditation (I mean proper meditation not daydreaming or being "lost in thought" or sleeping) and have (at least) level-2 minds eye visual ability.
