My chickens keep laying eggs in the grass and a handful have gone broody. I collected over 100 eggs in the frass today. I think the last time I had an easter egg hunt was 4ish days ago. Annoying because we can't sell the grass eggs.
Broody jail has worked well. You elevate a cage with a grate bottom and then lock the broody hens in the cage with food and water. Apparently the airflow on their bum makes them stop being broody because they can't keep eggs warm or something idk..
