I don't think this can work honestly, think about something outside gachage like Destiny 2, you'll not get a refund for all the DLCs you brought over the years and you can just quit if the game stops being enjoyable. As a personal example I've ended up playing GFL2 and even buying some BP and skins in the game, but things like Gunsmoke made me quit right after Wa2k's banner (and how unsatisfied I was with the gacha in general and gameplay), so I looked that I was getting annoying in some of my friend circles because of my complaints and just quit there. It's really no worth it getting angry over some live service game for not providing what I want.
