Finished reading through The Chrysalis.
What a disappointment. The main characters are flat as cardboard, and the protagonist becomes an obnoxiously talented warrior/assassin who is always morally correct and faces no real hard choices or setbacks. The main plot is basically the Minutemen vs. Institute conflict from FO4 played completely straight and with no moral grey areas or plot twists. The author completely fails to make the villains unsympathetic and the MC ends up slaughtering most of them in a massive war with minimal losses.

Ironically I'd recommend it if you don't like changelings, or are a fan of Tom Clancy novels. For me Whisper is worst bug, 0/10 would not love.
