Hermione gives the girl a look-over to determine if she’s still dangerous. A headband with animal ears and some sort of false tail… perhaps she was clinically insane? Perhaps she truly believed she were an animal? It’d explain the biting.

As she looks over the girl’s hands to make sure she isn’t carrying any sort of weapons, Hermione notices something interesting. Something very interesting. Extremely interesting, in fact. She can hardly hold back her laughter. It was almost unthinkable! This girl… she was wearing a very particular ring.

“wow, you were so cool Hermione!”
“yeah, the way you took charge was awesome!”
“you always stay so level-headed!”

“Quiet.” For once, the uglies’ chattering was distracting her from something extremely important. So, this beast, this commoner… she was a magical girl too. Hermione immediately pulls out her phone and makes a call. “Security. There’s a girl that needs to be detained.”

The response is quick and professional. “Right away, ma’am. We’re on the way.”

Not even thirty seconds later, two dark-suited men appear, and begin to drag the teary-eyed peasant away. If they’d taken much longer, they wouldn’t exactly be fit to be her security detail, after all.

“Girls. Our outing is finished. It’s time for you to return home.”

“whaaaat?!”
“what’s going on, Hermione?”
“what about all the clothes we bought?”
“where are you going?”
“do you want the cage back?”
“um… we don’t have a ride, since you’re the one who picked us up and drove us here…”
