Yes but as in, shit happens. Not that you should become inured to it and just be checked out to the point you don't care. It's the literal profession where you always have to care.

I will say it's sad when absolute bullshit gets posted, because little nuggets of gold get posted too, and it's a shame if someone missed them because of that. However we do see a lot of anons who are simply unwilling to wade through the bullshit for the gold. Who do get given links to good, new articles, dropped the same week, discussing something intriguing, and it's clear that they don't read them or only respond to one line in the abstract or something. 4chan has always been like this, it is on anons themselves to push past all that if they are interested in finding the good information.
