I'm not sure that "trolls will be in a fast-paced thread" is as reliable a rule as "maggots will be found in rotting flesh." In the running and handgun generals and there was almost no trolling when I followed them, despite a high pace of posts. As I said earlier, people were bemoaning the downfall of DALL-E for the entirety of its peak six-ish months, and maybe that's what you're doing. I don't believe that trolls are indicative of health or stagnation.
