They are sort of, but there's a Mireiverse. The World games are probably set in all entirely different universes (I played some but I'm not knowledgeable about them so idk), but characters can still crossover like the spats girl from the psp digimon game did. Meanwhile in the Story games all the DS titles take place in the same Digital World up until at least Lost Evolution, but in CS/HM you get the female protagonist of Dusk coming from another dimension than that one and an entirely different Digital World separating it from those titles. The new Digimon game coming has characters directly related to ones from the CS/HM world and the same school outfits, so Hudiemon would just be returning to the restarted version of her world if she comes back.
