My kot, Dodger, passed away peacefully this afternoon aged eleven years and six months, due to kidney failure exacerbated by a urinary tract infection. He had been given a one-year prognosis in March of 2021, and outlasted it by three-and-a-half years, sticking with me through what were otherwise my very loneliest years. I have gotten my life back now, and so he has elected to rest, a rest overdue and well-deserved. Thank you for your attention.
