Those are 3d printing artifacts, it's more noticeable on the hooves. I tried cleaning it up but I was afraid of breaking it. The one on the right picture isn't on the paint, I just dusted it off.
The skin is quite chunky, yes, I'm having struggles with doing skin that doesn't look like that (and the rough surface of the model doesn't help), I don't know if it's because of my paints or an skill issue on my part.
