See, that's annoying because you're half right. Or 66% right. Highball does include those elements, but it's a (tragic) part of the fic and not, like, fetishistic, which is what almost everyone will think about when you say NTR.
The fish is just your reading of that situation, which goes against the fairy tale-like writing and I'm fairly sure was unintentional—you were reading the fic "wrong", so to speak, and reached conclusions that weren't in the story if you stuck to its vague, fairy tale nature.
