Local? No, i don't use local. You need a very powerful system to not have to wait minutes for a response and also have good context size and all that, and even then local models aren't that good in my experience.

I use deepseek v3, it's not free but it's insanely cheap, 20 dollars of credits has lasted me months, and it's good plus uncensored.
If you want a completely free option you just have to cope with mediocre models that are probably censored
