Ironically tragic figure. Had he not been born into that family he wouldn't have suffered the genetic defects of incestuous relationships for centuries prior. Being born into nobility certainly afforded him better treatment than a peasant with the same afflictions, though peasantry virtually never engaged in incest as their marriages had to be closely sanctioned by churches and there was no way around this without loads of money.
