No. First-party Playstation Studios are primarily focused on Western markets and specifically the US. Tastes of consumers there aren't the same as places like China. And I don't think there'll be many games that will have even global appeal with the two major markets for games, China and the US, being fairly different in their tastes.

However, I think failures like Concord, the upcoming Marathon and $Fairgames, as well as the poor reception of games like Assassin's Creed Shadows, Dragon Age Veilguard, Star Wars Outlaws, Hellblade 2, Starfield, Redfall, Suicide Squad, are showing that tastes in the West are changing and/or AAA game development studios in the West are clearly missing the mark.

So, there'll be an adjustment, but I wouldn't claim it was due to games like Black Myth Wukong/Stellar Blade that do well in China as much as I would point to those games I listed performing poorly in the West. Because there have been other Western developed games that have done well, from smaller studios and less well-known IPs. This might suggest a fatigue of the legacy brands/developers and an interest in trying out lesser known properties.
