Did you guys know that Indians have "festival" where they destroy their river?

Indians will take large sums of food to dump in the nearest body of water. Anons, beware, this causes eutrophication and kills a large swat of the river of a whole lake. When you give a lot of nitrogen to a body of water the cyano bacteria sucks it all up along side all the oxygen in the body of water. This also means that the cyano bacteria now forms a thick film in the water that stops the plant life deeper in the body of water from giving it oxygen. With the death of the deeper algae, even more nitrogen is released refeeding the cycle of death; the body of water ends up having no oxygen for a very long period of time.
