He like most white men in his position subconciously cringe but have learned helplessness against the system that they have internalized how to pay lip service and toe the line for the sake of their company, their coworkers and their lives. Behind closed doors of closed doors, these guys very very secretly quietly think it's all gay and retarded but only under a million layers of liberal masking. They desperately don't want to be de-personed or destroyed by corporate liberal strata. They have worn the mask so long that they don't even remember what their original face looked like, and some even genuinely believe the diversity training bullshit up to a point.

But deep down they all know it's bullshit. I am friends with some people who are "in" the industry, and some massive giga-SJWs who are published. Deep down they are aware of how bullshit diversity is but there's levers in their internal mind apparatus that keep themselves in check because they firmly want to live in the rich, progressive, liberal world, not the taboo racist one.
