It's free to play, meaning that fact alone will gather millions of users to try the game. It remains to be seen if it's free of gacha elements or not, but so far from what I understand, it's not a gacha game.

Also the gameplay/combat looks much, much better, since it seems to have some Monster Hunter elements... I'll take Monster Hunter combat any time of the day any year over the combat of Fortnite (which's baked into Palworld, since it's probably the default gameplay in Unreal Engine game and the devs didn't bother changing any of the settings since they're artists and not game devs)
