Assume that Amazon could get some that are a bit more purpose built and without cozy consumer features like language and etiquette or flashy body panels. I'd guess under 10k a piece if he buys in bulk. That would easily be preferable to humans. No time off, apart from charging, no need for health or liability insurance, no need for 401k matching, works on all days of the week and on all holidays too. Even if it costs 40,000 per bot, it will pay for itself in two years, easily.
