Can't really fault them for creating a successful character. I recall Evil winning almost every single relevant faction war just because of how many people joined.
There's also an NPC in-game who joined Evil because he thought Gravelyn was hot, but he tries to leave because she's a nagging, commanding bitch to anyone who isn't the Hero.
