a lot of germans are bitter shits who'll go out of their way to fuck with you because they are stupid and bored. things are okaying for now but the social system is extremely volatile right now because there's an army of boomers who are about to retire with not enough workers active in the labour market to generate taxes to take care of them all. so either taxes are doubled here or the social system will collapse entirely. that's why everyone with smarts flees asap (working on it myself already).
