I just recently watched 28 Years Later. The movie had a big impact on me. It made me realize that racism is wrong, and that nationalism based on arbitrary distinctions and categorizations is misguided. Longing for the past can also be misleading, because I’m probably misinterpreting it.

I feel a bit like the main character from American History X, who had his racist beliefs challenged and transformed during his time in prison.
