image do have a giant create button on the bottom left but you need the image url https://novelai.net/image
text url is https://novelai.net/stories
text has a lot of settings so it's less intuitive you can customize it further than any image and also go back anytime to edit past text and change the story on the go
there are also stories settings made by others to have a nice start
I like to copy past real novels I read into it to have the exact prose of the author
