Yeah because that's how fucking deleting objects works in gamemaker. The game deletes the object because it doesn't need to be around anymore. I know what fucking YouTube video you took this from and I fucking hate it because the code snippet they took out is literally just the default function for destroying objects. The creator is just retarded and doesn't know how code works.
