Yeah lumping together is, I'm guessing the creator made it that way so it doesn't take as much horizontal space? but they did create a separate one you posted so at least data's preserved.
Yeah majority of the playerbase is not there, however you cannot define master rank being the most populated rank (aside from plat I guess) as anything other than dumb.
