Nope. Right-wing chuds are literally obsessed with transgender people, successful independent women, and people of color. Basically, they're fixated on whomever their enemy of the month might be. Whatever Joe Rogan or Matt Walsh tells you ought to be your enemy, you literally obsess over that.

But we aren't. If you ask me every morning what the weather is, then we aren't talking about the weather, or at least it's not something I'm initiating. I'm just responding to you. I dont actually care if it's still raining outside, but I'm trying not to be a dick...
Liberals don't actually care about transgender issues any more than any other unfair attack on a minority group. It's that cursed double-edged sword of tolerance and emapthy.
If you kick a bunny, I'm not suddenly PETA when I tell you to, "fuck off." I just don't see the point in the cruelty. It reeks of insecurity. It stinks of someone who has such a deep spiritual and emotional hole on their soul, that the only way to fill it is to make someone else hurt the same way.
It's baby shit. It's weak.
>I would blame both sides
I already showed you that's not true (pic related). Right-wing culture war shit, instead of talking about meat and potato political issues (taxes, spending, foreign policy, social welfare, regulations, etc) made this distraction an issue. We are not saints. We are just humans with basic compassion for others.
...which shouldn't be a political issue.
Should liberals just disengage and be apathetic? Give up basic principles, so as not to "take the bait."
I'd rather not see the leftist populism take over liberalism, like it did on the right.
>sounding morally superior
I'll never get this. The right claim to be about facts over feelings, but they seem to get far more emotionally when so many facts don't care about their feelings (climate change, 2020 election, trans issues, vaccines, etc.). Suddenly, it's not about the facts, but what they feel...
>ita a convenient distraction
I agree.
But in the meantime it's a distraction that is getting real people killed. I just don't find that shit funny. Someone is an asshole and Darwin their way out? Fine, sensible chuckle. You bully some kids with underdeveloped brains into heroing? You're not Dave Chappele.
