notice this female has a knot tied on her shirt. typically only something women do, yet this figure lacks the waist contours, those contours would be even more prominent since her shirt is now snuggly tied, but if they put those, it would girl-code it. the pocket and necklace charm are meant to distract from the lack of boob-contours. Lego liked to use the combo of frumpy jacket and large necklace charm (or t-shirt print under the jacket) to "hide" the lack of boob lines.

I did like the change to the neck-lines, where they would usually put a little yellow circle around the collar to indicate a neck. removing that meant you could use those torsos for "fleshie" colored heads as well as the classic yellow heads (and the other way around, if the minifig was fleshie colored but you wanted to use the torso with a yellow head)
