Based. One of my parents died unexpectedly while I was pulling yet another all nighter in ugrad. Then the other died a few months into my first job after graduating in 09. Lot of other shit happened in my life and I tried to hold it together. Finally started getting my head above water by the late 2010s and then the pandemic hit and I lost my girlfriend and business. bought a run down house and have basically mentally checked out ever since. I'm proof to all these zoomers and even boomers that even if millennials were top performers and doing it all right, the deck was stacked against us so hard with 08/09 and then the pandemic. some got lucky, i'm happy for u bro
