U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: The Reconstruction Investment Fund established under the U.S.-Ukraine resource agreement is personally headed by U.S. President Trump.

Scott Bessent participated via video link in the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome and presented the Reconstruction Investment Fund, aimed at mobilizing American companies, resources, and experts for Ukraine's recovery.

"Economic security supports national security. That's why President Trump spearheaded the establishment of the United States Reconstruction Investment Fund. With sound macroeconomic management and robust foreign investment, Ukraine's economic future will be far stronger than its past. The Reconstruction Investment Fund is key to unlocking that abundant future," the U.S. Treasury Secretary said.

Scott Bessent added that the United States will work to ensure that "no person, state, or company that finance or supply the Russian war machine will be allowed to benefit from Ukraine's reconstruction".
