5. Critical blows come when the enemy is slowly giving up his fight because the objective he desires cannot be met, or when the enemy finds a way to strike through the speedy reactions of the snake. The blow is then a direct strike to the limb or mental argument, which hits its mark. Through this methodology, the snake learns when it is weakest and adapts its technique to counter in the future. The strike that starts the counterattack is immediately followed by a pulling of the limb downwards and backwards, or in mental terms, the argument is taken down first with truth that is greater than the enemy's wisdom, then pulled into the depths of total failure by reinforcing the argument with lower level truths that define the attack as inferior across multiple areas of reason. The following motion is the death blow, where the venom is released, a final blow to a vital or critical system, such as the eyes or the throat. In mental terms, a revelation of higher-order truth which imbalances the struggle on the opponent's side, a truth which, when fully known, brings existential concern and the divine impossibility of reason to a lesser being.
6. Favouring speed and reaction over attempts to land non-critical blows, the evolving snake attacks only once, once the venom has been released, the snake retreats and hides itself from the fight.
7. Ignoring the fighters who argue amongst each other, the evolving snake has no allies and no wars to fight; he stands alone and reaches maximum survival of the fittest clarity by ensuring his battles are with his enemies. As he strikes to kill or critically wound, he is reasserting his snake nature, by eating only once weekly, he strikes only once per fight.
