Kretyn was a new paladin. He still didn't know what that word really meant, but the worm god Robak told him he would be a vessel for goodness. Kretyn liked that. When he heard scared meowing in the trees, he knew what must be done. Kretyn climbed and climbed and climbed some more. It was a tall branch to reach, but good deeds weren't always easy to do. he ignored the pain in his limbs and pressed on. Eventually Kretyn found the source of the frightened mews. Kittens! Two of them, probably brothers. They didn't need to be scared anymore. A paladin was here to save the day. Kretyn had come to the rescue.
