That's the point anon, parents don't give a fuck.
We had real parental control options since the 7th console generation (probably even earlier), options that made 18+ games straight up unplayable, screen time etc.
The truth is most parents have no real interest in their child and as long as it's not dying and has blatantly obvious issues they are satisfied, why do you think so many parents stick their kids on smartphones, even when it is known to be super harmful for their development?
Hell we even have "ipad" children that use tablets before they can even walk.
Parents just want to absolve themselves from their parental responsibilities and are targeting things that have no real effect on anyone.
