I like to imagine the more defiant and proud and self-righteous ones try to resist more. Of course, that translates into... well, some pretty intense vibrations. So even though their personality doesn't show through, the ones for whom it's far more humiliating and degrading tend to be selected more. Meanwhile, a total slut who's really into it barely gets used at all.
